Jessica Vozel

Jessica Vozel is originally from a small town an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in English with a concentration on professional writing. She is attending the University of Cincinnati for her Master's in English with a concentration on creative writing.

Writing has been her passion since she first picked up a pencil and scrawled out an entire story in one afternoon at the age of eight. Now, a laptop has replaced the pencil but her love of the written word persists. During her college years, she worked at the campus writing center, aiding students in composing and revising academic papers, and this led to her interest in one day teaching in a university setting. Wherever she ends up, she hopes to always be writing. Her other interests include literature, feminism, politics and animal rights.
