Lawrence J. Haas, a former White House communications strategist,
award-winning journalist, and author, writes widely about foreign and domestic affairs.

 

Larry was Communications Director and Press Secretary for Vice President Al Gore, serving as his spokesman and helping to craft his strategic message.  He also was Communications Director for the White House Office of Management and Budget, speaking for the Clinton Administration in TV, radio, and print interviews.


After his government work, Larry was Director of Public Affairs and Special Assistant to the President at Yale University.

 

His articles have appeared in The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Baltimore Sun, Miami Herald, and many other
publications.  He has appeared on FOX, CNN, CNBC, C-SPAN, NPR, BBC, Voice of America, and many local TV and radio shows.
